Elon Musk's 'Chinese version' causes fever again

Video of a man identical to billionaire Elon Musk, standing next to a Tesla car and holding a Twitter

"Elong Musk" became famous at the end of December 2021 when he posted a video on the Douyin platform with the same face, posture and hairstyle as the technology billionaire. When asked about the video, Musk deftly replied: "Maybe a part of me is Chinese." In fact, his family has nothing to do with China. His father is South African, his mother is Canadian, and he is currently an American citizen.

Currently, the identity of Musk's "copy" is still controversial. Many people surmise that he lives in Suzhou, eastern China. While others think that the video is just a deepfake product, which is edited and stitched by AI to look real.

On April 25, Elon Musk was approved by Twitter to buy this social network for $ 44 billion. "Twitter has great potential, I look forward to working with the company and the user community to unlock it," he said. The deal will take Twitter private and is expected to close in October.
